The Emmaus Young Professional Advisory Board hosts special events to support the mission of Emmaus throughout the year. Past events have included Emmaus Pirates Night, Pins for a Purpose, and a “Spread the Word to End the Word” awareness-raising event at BD’s Mongolian Grill.
Each year, the Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh holds its Emmaus Golf Classic in September. Venues have included prestigious courses such as The Club at Nevillewood and Oakmont Country Club.
The annual Kentucky Derby Gala is held each year at Oakmont Country Club. The evening is a great opportunity for everyone to break out their fanciest hats and dancing shoes and celebrate the Derby, Pittsburgh-style!
The 2011 Black & Gold Bash was an evening of food, football, and fun at the Sheraton at Station Square.
