Home & Community Supports

Home & Community Supports are provided in the individual’s home or community to assist individuals in acquiring skills necessary to reside successfully in home- and community-based settings.

Emmaus’ competent and caring staff assist individuals in acquiring, maintaining and improving self-help, domestic, socialization, and adaptive skills.  Services consist of support in the general areas of self-care, communication, fine and gross motor skills, mobility, therapeutic activities, personal adjustment, relationship development, socialization, and use of community resources. Home and Community Supports is scheduled in 15-minute units, and is provided at a one to one staff / individual ratio.

Emmaus also offers in-home Companion Services.
