Supported Living
The Emmaus Staff is dedicated to assisting individuals in a home that they own, lease, or rent, either on their own or with family or housemates. Our focus is on helping them acquire, maintain, or enhance the skills needed to live more independently and actively engage in their community.
As the service provider, the Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh guarantees that on-call staff are available to support participants around the clock, 24 hours a day. Individuals receiving Supported Living care are eligible for up to 30 hours of direct care services per week.

The Emmaus mission calls us to share our lives with one another.
Every time we welcome a new resident at Emmaus, we commit to providing the highest quality of care to that person for the rest of his or her life. That means sharing meals, working together, holding celebrations, facing our challenges, and building friendships. We value the unique gifts that each of our residents brings to this Community.
