What is the purpose of the Emmaus Quality of Life Trust?
The Emmaus Quality of Life Trust empowers individuals who receive social security disability benefits to save and plan for the future without jeopardizing their benefits. These funds are reserved to address the person’s additional and supplementary needs that are not met by government benefits.
Why Should I Consider a Special Needs Pooled Trust?
The Emmaus Quality of Life Trust is a wonderful option for improving the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities. It preserves funds for the future while maintaining benefits; facilitates long-term planning; and eliminates the need to frivolously spend down assets, while giving individuals the ability to make choices and spend their funds on the things that matter to them.

I Love Emmaus
Services consist of support in the general areas of self-care, communication, fine and gross motor skills, mobility, therapeutic activities, personal adjustment, relationship development, socialization, and use of community resources. Home and Community Supports is scheduled in 15-minute units, and is provided at a one to one staff / individual ratio.
The Emmaus mission calls us to share our lives with one another.
Every time we welcome a new resident at Emmaus, we commit to providing the highest quality of care to that person for the rest of his or her life. That means sharing meals, working together, holding celebrations, facing our challenges, and building friendships. We value the unique gifts that each of our residents brings to this Community.
