Community-Based Homes
In our homes individuals with intellectual disabilities receive life-changing 24-hour support according to their specific needs. Our Residential programs include Residential, Supported Living, and Life Sharing.
In-Home & Community Supports
Individuals receive support both at home and in the community to build new skills, develop relationships, and increase independence. Services offered include In-Home & Community Supports, Companion Services, Short-term Respite Care, and Community Participation Supports.
Education & Outreach
Emmaus promotes public awareness of the needs of people with intellectual disabilities while offering assistance to individuals and families seeking support.
Supported Living
The Emmaus Staff is dedicated to assisting individuals in a home that they own, lease, or rent, either on their own or with family or housemates. Our focus is on helping them acquire, maintain, or enhance the skills needed to live more independently and actively engage in their community.
Life Sharing
The host(s) will assist individuals in acquiring, maintaining, or enhancing skills essential for community living, encouraging greater independence, and engaging meaningfully in community activities. Services include support, guidance, and assistance in all aspects of daily life.
Special Needs Pooled Trust
The Emmaus Quality of Life Trust empowers individuals who receive social security disability benefits to save and plan for the future without jeopardizing their benefits. These funds are reserved to address the person’s additional and supplementary needs that are not met by government benefits.
The Emmaus mission calls us to share our lives with one another.
Every time we welcome a new resident at Emmaus, we commit to providing the highest quality of care to that person for the rest of his or her life. That means sharing meals, working together, holding celebrations, facing our challenges, and building friendships. We value the unique gifts that each of our residents brings to this Community.
